
National Junior Honor Society members volunteered at the Feed My Starving Children facility in Libertyville, Illinois on March 3rd.
These outstanding 8th students were part of a group that packaged 48,600 meals to send to Nicaragua. It was a very productive morning! The NJHS members that participated were: Ezekiel Brown, Dylan Chapley, Amaya Collins, Josh Davis, Taibrianna Foster, Taniyah Foster, Martha Garcia, Erwin Gutierrez, Nataly Jimenez, Blanca Martinez-Herrera, Jose Morales, Jacob Ondo, Angelina Patterson, Melanie Reyes, Kimberly Rico, Raven Smith, and Iyana Vaughn. The teachers that accompanied the group and assisted with the meal packaging were: Jen Connolly, Dennis DeBennette, Marsha DeBennette, Bill Laskaridis, and Sarah Van Eekeren.
